It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself, and since I finally had professional photos taken, it felt like the perfect time.

I’m Micquelle, 54, wife to Jeff, mom to Peyton & Halle, former educator, guest lecturer, lifelong lover of fashion, and soon-to-be nanny (which may end up being my favorite title yet).

Before this chapter of life, I spent years in education, specifically in special education and dyslexia intervention. Teaching has always been such a meaningful part of who I am. I loved helping students grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and feel seen for who they were beyond the challenges they faced.

Looking back now, I think that’s part of why this space has become so fulfilling for me too. In many ways, it still feels like teaching, just in a completely different form.

Instead of lesson plans and classrooms, it’s style, confidence, and helping women feel good in what they wear.

Fashion has honestly been in my bones for as long as I can remember. I’ve never been someone who wants to chase every trend or buy something simply because everyone else has it. I’ve always been drawn to pieces that feel timeless, beautifully made, and quietly special. The kind of pieces you reach for because they simply feel like you.

At this stage in my life, I care much more about quality than quantity. I want a wardrobe filled with pieces I genuinely love wearing, timeless silhouettes, beautiful fabrics, and details that make an outfit feel elevated.

This little community has become such a joy for me over the years. I truly love discovering brands, styling favorites in fresh ways, and sharing pieces that hopefully inspire women to feel confident and comfortable in their own style.

And now, stepping into this next season of life as a soon-to-be nanny, it feels especially meaningful to pause and reflect on how much this community has grown alongside me.
